CAKD Directory
During the next 6 weeks, CAKD will be putting together its directory. A hard copy of the directory will be provided to all dues paying members of the alumnae chapter, and will be passed out at the Founder’s Day event on October 23rd. This is your last chance to pay your 2009-2010 dues as our member directory needs to be turned into nationals by 11/1/09. Please don’t let this opportunity get away from you, and turn in your membership form and dues today!

Recruitment Meal for UALR
CAKD is planning on helping out the KD extension team the weekend of September 25th by providing a meal for the 25 KDs on UALR’s campus for recruitment. CAKD will get BBQ for the ladies, but would appreciate any contribution of side items from our members. You can come and help serve, or you can drop off your contribution with one of us that are planning on serving. Please let me know if you can provide any of the following, and I will get back with you about where to drop it off at:
Buns
Baked Beans
Cole Slaw
Potato Salad
Cookies
2-liters
Ice
Forks / Spoons / Knives
Plates
Napkins
Cups

Alumnae Division 7 Facebook Page
The KD Alumnae Division 7 national officers Tracy Gramkow, Operating Specialist, and Jackie Anglin, Marketing Specialist, have put a facebook page up that they would like to welcome all alumnae in Division 7 to join. You can find that page at http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=116010969088&ref=ts.

National Charity League
At 2009 Convention in Orlando, Kappa Deltas found out about a new partnership between Kappa Delta Sorority and National Charity League. I have attached the memo sent in the August 2009 KD Leader (previously known as the quarterly mailing), but also encourage those of you with daughters in grades 7-12 to check out the organization at www.natinoalcharityleague.org .

Kudos to our KD sisters
Patti Bailey (Sigma Upsilon – Indiana) – Patti and her husband John are Lifetime Board Members of the Arkansas Museum of Discovery. Thank you for all the work that you have put into the Museum to make it such a success. I’m sure I speak for many KDs with small children, when I say AMOD is one of the best places to take children in Central Arkansas! Send your Kudos news to Rachel at centralarkansaskd@hotmail.com
